The four year old comes in at 8 AM (yay for waiting until 8!) and said there was something really cute in the sun room. I go down and find a opossum in there. I had the doors open for a while last night and it must have got in then. Safely removed.

Through careful use of a high tech opossum removal tool...a broom. I just tapped it on the butt until it started moving and kept it going. It seemed happy perched on the windowsill.

The only time I ended up with an opossum in my house I went to grab some leather gloves because rabies. In the minute or so I'm in the garage my dog finds it and that's all she wrote. So then I'm stuck cleaning opossum blood out of the carpet...that stuff stains.

it can always be worse. Just imagine if she carried it in and plopped it on your bed.
99 bottles of bleach on the bed, 99 bottles of bleach, pour one out, swish it around, 98 bottles to go!

Ah, it just walked in the open door and it walked out. I'm not afraid of finding that it came in from secret hole.
